Print Magazine's blog Imprint just published an interview/article with/on graphic designer Rebecca Méndezand the current exhibitions at the Pasadena Museum of California Art. My piece for the Street Cred portion of their current program gets a cool 'lil shout.

This past Saturday saw the public presentation of this piece designed by Tempt One at the Pasadena Museum of California Art. The making of the piece was an inspiring collaborative project, with assists by Angst, Defer, Eyeone, Prime, and Slick; sculpting by Jessee Clarkson of Nascent Perspective; and logistical support from the Not Impossible Foundation.
My nephew was amongst the many people who were very, very impressed by Tempt's piece. The ability to explore the sculpture allowed viewers to engage with and examine the letterforms from every angle. After carefully studying the letters, my nephew spelled out the T-E-M-P-T and, needless to say, I was super hyped!

A good friend of mine recently pointed me to the photography of Frédéric Chaubin and I was immediately blown away. His documentation of amazing former Soviet Union architecture seems like it was gathered in the future. Above are a few examples that particularly grabbed my attention. "No + Sangre!" -No More Bloodshed!- proclaimed over 30,000Zapatistas this past weekend in San Cristobal de las Casas, Chiapas, in solidarity with the National March for Peace with Justice and Dignity that took place in Mexico.

The second issue of RareForm is out, brought to you by HozaeOne and TenGramz. This issue continues where the first left off, bringing you more grime from the real streets of L.A. Packed with flicks of stuff by a multitude of writers and featuring interviews with Seroe, Skoler, and Table, this issue is a must-have. Limited to 30 signed and numbered copies, get one while the getting is good.
Over the last few weekends I contributed a bit to this enormous wall in honor of Tempt One. Many writers came through and participated in rocking this production including NY legend Mare 139 and Bay Area OGs Vogue and Estria.
The Los Angeles contingent consisted of originators, heavy-hitters, and friends and supporters of Tempt.
