Tanner Goldbeck aka Racecar13 is one of the sickest artists I know and one of the raddest peeps as well. Here's some of his trademark skull work with a video of him busting one out in the most analog of ways: a pencil (remember those?)

Peep his website here.

Trying to revive an old hard drive, I managed to dig up some rad sketchbook work by Precise One from the 1990s. You can peep more of his work here.

Another classic black and white sketch by Precise One. Not sure of the date, but I'd guess it was done right after the RTD changed its name to the MTA.

I can't believe that it's been 30 years since homeboy up there challenged the world for the first time with that most existential of questions: "How high can you get?" Sapo verde yiu yiu, Donkey Kong!

This past Saturday saw the public presentation of this piece designed by Tempt One at the Pasadena Museum of California Art. The making of the piece was an inspiring collaborative project, with assists by Angst, Defer, Eyeone, Prime, and Slick; sculpting by Jessee Clarkson of Nascent Perspective; and logistical support from the Not Impossible Foundation.

My nephew was amongst the many people who were very, very impressed by Tempt's piece. The ability to explore the sculpture allowed viewers to engage with and examine the letterforms from every angle. After carefully studying the letters, my nephew spelled out the T-E-M-P-T and, needless to say, I was super hyped!
