I did a little bit of work for Getting Up: The Tempt One Story, a film about my friend Tempt, one of Los Angeles' most acclaimed graffiti style masters.
Stay tuned for more details. The documentary premieres at the Slamdance Film Festival later this month.
Just got my Puro Pari Pack from Michael Alvarez, one of the raddest artists around. It is a sick selection of stickers and badges featuring details from his paintings, all in neat custom baggie. Peep his webstore for more goodies here.
The 6th Annual Midnight Ridazz All City Toy Drive is goin' down this Friday night. Coming from all points in the city and converging at historic Olvera Street in Downtown L.A., the ride is a rad way of gathering toys for kids. For up-to-the-minute 411, peep the website here.
I had the chance to check out Mear's latest show a few days ago. Mear has been heavily influential and prolific for over two decades in the L.A. graffiti scene and continues to have a solid impact worldwide. Definitely worth a visit. Info below.

LeHumanBeing and I had the chance to peep Gajin Fujita's solo exhibition at L.A. Louver last night. Gajin's work is a fresh amalgamation of his experiences and background, from his Japanese heritage to his involvement in shaping L.A.'s early graffiti history as a member of pioneering crews KGB and K2S.

This is a video clip covering some of the madness that is Interbike. At about 1:49 you can peep some of the ARTCRANK artwork and a brief interview with the show's curator/creator Charles Youel. My piece is lurking in some of the shots... (Thanks for the heads up Erin!)
Met this dude Franz DG at the coffee shop after having spied him drawing some cool ish. Anyway, upon closer inspection, I saw some recognizable icons in the background of his sketch. I hit him up and started talking art, politics, graffiti, and coffee. Homie is way dope, draws comics, is mad involved in social justice causes, and is super talented. (Thanks for the drawing man!)
