Interesting mash-up of Slowdive's 'Allison' video (and a few others) to illustrate their song 'When The Sun Hits.'

Lyrics here (if you're feeling sinister.)
Funk it, I'll spare you the trouble:

Slowdive - When The Sun Hits

Sweet thing, I watch you
Burn so fast it scares me
You burn so fast it scares me
mind games don't leave me
I've come so far don't lose me

It matters where you are
As the sun hits, she'll be waiting
With her cool things and her heaven
Hey hey lover you still burn me
You're a song yeah, hey, hey

Kofie, Cache, and Eye linked up to flip one of Cache's Sunset walls for the Summer. These are the results. Yes that's a triceratops.

Connector here.

you were my sunny day rain
you were the clouds in the sky
you were the darkest sky
but your lips spoke gold and honey
that's why i'm happy when it rains
i'm happy when it pours
and if i tell you something
you take me back to nothing
i'm on the edge of something
you take me back
and i'm happy when it rains

suspending my boycott of the jesus and mary chain for you, njr. also for the fact that's ride's loz on drums in this vid. felicidades!

Got a gnarly sunburn painting this wall with Cache, Asylm, Ewsoe, Ruets, and Spurn. Ouch.

The homie Skypage kicked me down with a copy of this rad collabo 'zine Disaster, featuring work by Skypage, Lance Mountain (yes, THE Lance Mountain!), and Thomas Yu. Published in 2009 by Heelbruise Press.

Mysterious 'zine website here.

I came across the work of Macoto Murayama on Pink Tentacle, and I was really awestruck. The images are CG representations of the underlying structures of flowers; his work reminds me of old rave flyers mashed with maps of the brain, particle collisions, and Tron.

Full article on Pink Tentacle here.

Format currently runnin' an interview they done did with lil' ol' me.

Excerpt: "When I was about 4 years old, I pierced one of my eyes with the end of a model boat. It was one of those Spanish galleons with the long battering pole in the front made out of metal. All I remember is my eye shutting immediately."

Peepscalade the whole thing here.
